Emma has a creative and technical approach to her discipline which has led her to produce material and methods now widely used within the hooping community. At the same time as she love researching, playing and looking for new material she’s also a big fan of drilling it over and over again until it’s solid. This is a very valuable combination which has led her to where she is today.
Emma took an unusual path into the circus world, she discovered her love for hula hoops at age 20 while traveling and working in New Zealand. When returning to Europe she continued her journey by attending the 3rd year, focusing on individual artistic research, at Flic Scuola di Circo in Italy.
The year after she took part in FAAAC (Formation Alternative et Autogérée aux Arts du Cirque), a self organized juggling formation in France. She has also trained under Yuri Pozdnyakov in Kiev, Ukraine.

Breandán Petrassi & Róisín Barron
Breandán Petrassi & Róisín Barron form a powerful teaching duo from Ireland. Bringing a balanced and inclusive approach to AcroYoga fundamentals, with a lighthearted and playful tone throughout, you're certainly in for a treat when these two teachers are on the roster together!
Their repertoire includes quirky and fun flows that find novel ways to push the envelope of what you typically expect from L-base AcroYoga. Their secret sauces are play, always finding the funny side of a situation through their Irish-style banter, and progressivity, appreciating that play comes easy when progressions and safety are paramount!

Breandán is an adventurous movement practitioner who has been exploring different movement practises since he was a teenager. Coming from a background of Parcour and Yoga, he discovered AcroYoga in 2014 which felt like the perfect synthesis of the elements he loved from both practices.
He has been teaching regular AcroYoga classes in Cork City since the beginning of 2022, building up to four weekly classes. He was featured on RTÉ's Today Show in late 2022 for his classes, launched his own website in the beginning of 2023, and was the co-founder of the highly successful West Cork Flow Festival 2021 & 2022, whose mixed movement mash-up was a driving force behind his motivation for opening his own mixed movement studio, Free Flow Studios.
In June of 2023 he ran the first year of "Acronnection", the first national-scale retreat for AcroYoga in Ireland, with the first Winter Edition success in January 2024, he was also a part of the team behind the Irish Acro Festival 2024!

Circus Factory has professionally installed aerial rigging and all equipment and hardware undergoes regular inspection. All equipment is rigged at a low accessible level with professional landing mats mandatory for practice training. Our aerial Coaches are experienced aerial artists and have a high level of previous teaching experience. All classes are conducted with Covid 19 protocols in place.
The circus factory is such a fantastic place with amazing tutors. There is never any pressure to go higher or do anything I'm uncomfortable with but I still always find myself pushing my boundaries from the support and enthusiasm of Brenda and the students. Couldn't ask for a better environment to see what I'm capable of or better people to share a passion with.
“Finding circus was such a life changing thing for me, in it I found not just a physical outlet, something that had been lacking in my adult life but also a creative outlet, a place to be inspired and explore my crazy ideas”
“Brilliant venue. great for learning circus skills with lovely teachers”
The Circus factory is like a big playground where creative people play and work with each other and learn from one another. Exploring new movements is one of the most beautiful ways to entertain your inner child.
The equipment in CF is always improved/ updated and above all when it comes to aerial rigging/equipment it's regulated & safe. Knowing you can train on apparatus that is rigged well and checked regularly means a lot”
“The best place in Cork to get fit and push your limits while having a lot of fun.”
“Circus Factory has been an amazing organisation and community to get to know. By learning skills I never thought I could manage, It has helped me develop confidence not just as an artist but in my everyday life as well”,
