Cork Printmakers, Backwater Artists Group and The Lavit Gallery are pleased to present: In The Open – Faoin Spéir World Circus Day with Circus Factory April 16th, 2022.

Circus Factory is taking over the courtyard at Wandesford Quay for World Circus Day. Join us for a day of fun for both adults and kids. We’ve got our brand new ‘Super Star Circus’ show for youngsters along with our much-loved ‘Circus Disco’ post show. And for the grown-ups? We’ve got a high-flying Circus Cabaret!

World Circus Day for Kids: Premiere of Super Star Circus

Ready, Steady, Hup, it’s time for some super cool circus with Jimmy, Gabbo, and AD. These three circus enthusiasts love to do Circus cause it’s the the bestest thing ever. On a mission from the Circus Gods to share their amazing tricks with the world, whether the world wants it or not, our circus heroes will charm their way into your hearts. You’ll see that there’s no such thing as failure, only another chance to try it again. And before you know it you’ll be trying it too.

What is a Circus Disco?

We bring with us Juggling Balls, Clubs, Diablos, Flowerstick, Hula Hoops, and maybe a Unicycle or two. We put on some music and encourage a fun “try it out” atmosphere for approximately 40 minutes. Nobody is too old or too young to try, and the way you use the equipment is the correct way to use it. The Circus Disco takes place right after each performance.
