Circus Factory is thrilled to announce Ireland’s FIRST and ONLY Introduction Circus Course.
This course in contemporary circus arts is for 3 months and will introduce you to and train you in floor acrobatics, aerial arts and manipulation circus skills.
The 3 Month Circus Course
This cutting edge course starts this September 2022 with auditions take place in July 1st & August 8th. Training will take place in Cork City. You will work with household names with a diverse circus skillset including Nat Whittingham, Michaela Heyer, Inma Pavon, Cormac Mohally and Noelle Ní Riagáin. There will also be guest coaches throughout for you to work with and learn from. Training will take place in Cork City.
You are also invited to attend an information session all about the course. This will be led by Managing Director Louisa Sloan, Artistic Director Cormac Mohally. Coaches will also join so you can ask any and all burning questions.
What Will I Do in This Circus Course?
The 3-month introductory circus course will run from September to December Monday – Friday, 9.30am -5.00pm.
In the morning, you will work with our two lead coaches developing strength, flexibility and technical progression in floor and aerial acrobatics. During the afternoon, you will learn specialist circus skills including chinese pole, cyr wheel, juggling and object manipulation.
Students will also have the opportunity to travel to the National Circus Festival of Ireland in Tralee in November where they will meet the fast growing community of circus artists, take specialist workshops and see exciting contemporary circus Shows!
