Acrobatics Doubles Workshop with Jonah McGreevy & Anja Nicholson
Join Jonah McGreevy & Anja Nicholson at Circus Factory for an Acrobatics Doubles Workshop.
A workshop focused on creating doubles sequences and choreography, mixing elements from circus acrobatics, hand-to-hand, Quebradita, Contact, Contemporary, and Partner Dance Forms. The workshop will include warmup, technique, improvisation and choreography. The workshop is open to dancers, circus artists and others who are interested in working on doubles movement. You should be regularly active to attend the workshop and can come alone or with a partner.
The are two workshops taking place at Circus Factory. The workshops are both based on building unique choreography with the people who partner up in the class. The second class will allow more time to delve into and develop that choreography.
The first acrobatics doubles workshop will take place Wednesday, May 17th. If you would like to develop this choreography with Jonah and Anja, the second acro doubles workshop is on Sunday, May 20th.

Taught by Anja Nicholson, contemporary dancer and performer and Jonah McGreevy, Co-Artistic Director of Loosysmokes, an award-winning performer with over a decade of experience in doubles on the ground and in the air.
