Drag royalty will rule with Mockie Ah while spectacular circus curiosities & burlesque beauties will astonish and astound you at every turn! Dance the night away with our dazzling DJS and dancers until the clock strikes…sssh! So join us, dear friends, at the Marina Market from 10pm for the spectacle of the season with plenty of sweet treats in store!

*We’re delighted to be selected for the Culture Night Late award to collaborate with Candy Warhol.

wobbly circus clown on bike cork culture night

This performance is of a walkabout nature. Meet our larger than life colourful stilt walker ‘Lady Longbottom’ and ‘Clown on a Bike’ a unique act performed on a mini penny farthing bicycle. This is free range circus with added bass! The roving acts add colour, excitement and crowd interaction to this culture night event!

When: 5PM – 7.30PM

Culture Night at Opera Lane – Juggler Brendan

learn to juggle opera lane cork city library culture night

These juggling workshops on Cork culture night focus on fun, achievable tricks with a variety of different juggling props, to make sure that every person leaves with a feeling of accomplishment and pride. Juggling is non-competitive and the skills taught are easily accessible for all. Since every group is different, Brendan adapts each workshop to match the age, skill level, and skill spread of the class.

Brendan will be throwing open his cases of juggling equipment for everyone to pick up a prop and have a go! Learn to balance a feather, spin a plate, juggle 3 balls or manipulate a flower stick in this informal workshop. Come along and try what you like – no previous hand-eye coordination needed! Go your own way, make up your own tricks, or learn something new. Juggler Brendan will be on-hand with helpful tips for anyone who wants them!

When: 6.30PM – 7.30PM

You can also find Juggler Brendan at Cork City Library at 4.30PM – 5.30PM.
