Mixed Aerial for Beginners – Your Questions Answered
Who’s it for?
This class is ideal for beginners, improvers, those who are returning to aerial after an extended break and anyone wanting to branch off from their main apparatus.
Class structure:
We’ll start each class by doing a fun warm up and some light stretching, followed by strength conditioning on and off the equipment. (You DO NOT have to be already strong to attend this class! We’ll work from the ground up (pun intended) and get strong along the way. You’ll then learn a trick, pose or sequence and we’ll end with a relaxing cool down.
What do I wear?
Comfortable leggings/joggers and clothes you can freely move in. Please don’t wear jewellery or clothing with zips as this can tear and snag the aerial fabrics. Bring layers to keep warm, especially in the colder months. It’s not advisable to wear shorts, we generally don’t need bare skin to grip the equipment and layers can add a nice element of protection from those inevitable aerial bruises (we like to think of them as medals).
Please arrive 5 minutes before class as we aim to start on time.
Date: September 11 – Oct 23rd
Time: 6.30pm – 7.45pm
Level Suitable for beginner and above, as progressions will be given for returning students.
Price: €105

Four Reasons to Attend the Aerial Hoop Class
- A fun alternative gym workout.
- A great class for beginners, and anyone unsure of which class to book into as it will give you a taste of four apparatuses: hoop, silks, trapeze and cocoon.
- A great class for anyone that’s had a break from aerial, as we’ll go back over the basics, and tailor progressions for students at an improver/intermediate level.
- For the non-committed student – as these classes are sold in six-week terms (drop-ins options available?), feel free to come and see what it’s all about (bring a mate!).
About Your Coaches:
Ciara
“Hi, I’m Ciara. I am an aerialist and teacher with a love (and fear!) of performance. My personal aerial journey began in 2015 when I first took an aerial hoop class and immediately became hooked. Since then, I’ve found a second love in aerial silks. I dabble in rope, straps and a number of aerial-based movement arts. Having began teaching in 2022, I’m keen to ignite a passion for aerial in my students by making my classes a fun and safe environment to be in. I adore incorporating killer conditioning to make us strong, once a student has found their feet. (Sorry, not sorry).”
Giulia
“Hi! I am Giulia, aerial teacher for both adults and kids, and performer since 2017. Performed at Pitch, september 2022 and during street festivals in Italy since 2017. As a teacher I am focused on technique, strength, safety and creativity to let the students grow and spread their wings in a safe and motivated environment.”
