Intro to Partner & Group AcroYoga

This workshop is for anyone wishing to learn about Acroyoga and take home a base of skills to build on and to continue your journey in Acroyoga at home or in other classes. This workshop is entry level for all ages and bodies. There will be spotting, mats and all the safety you need to embark on your new movement journey- this one is guaranteed to bring you back to when you were a kid flying ‘bird’ stacked on top of someone’s feet as you flew high!

What to expect in your AcroYoga Workshop?

1) Get out of your head and move your body in new ways
2) Meet likeminded people in a safe environment to move and be yourself
3) Learn skills to build upon with friends, family and strangers alike
4) Practice communication skills – this is essential for group and partner practice and is so rewarding when done well
5) Realize the possibility to have fun while getting stronger and more flexible – I see this practice as a way more fun replacement for the gym!

Are there any prerequisites to attend?

None! This workshop is entry level for all ages and bodies. There will be spotting, mats and all the safety you need to embark on your new movement journey.

About Your Intro to Partner & Group AcroYoga Coach: Mary Kelly

I grew up doing and teaching gymnastics and found Acroyoga right before Covid. I have been passionate about it ever since. I’ve met the warmest people while travelling and meeting acrobatics and Acro yoga communities. There’s a whole world of opportunities out there, and more importantly, here in Cork.
