Tight Wire Acrobatics

for adults at all levels

TIGHT

WIRE

What is it?

Tight Wire or Funambulism is the art and practice of walking, jumping and performing acrobatic tricks  across a thin wire or rope. A tight wire artist can use props in their hands for additional balance such as a Fan or a horizontal pole. Tight wire practice involves both physical and mental discipline and has many benefits for developing mental focus and self awareness.

For Who

Tight wire can be practiced at all levels and all physical abilities. Circus Factory has a low training wire that is raised approximately 2 feet from the ground that is ideal for beginners and improvers. Indoor soft plimsoll type shoes are ideal training shoes for the wire.
