Circus Factory aims to elevate Circus and Street Arts through innovation and creativity, and street festivals are an age-old activity that bring together young, old, rich, and poor. Pitch’d brings the stories, colour and life of circus arts to the streets of Cork. And we invite the public to catch up with friends while having the craic by trying hula hooping, or stand in awe at an acrobat flipping and tumbling, or scratch your head at some silly walkabout characters.
Pitch’d Cirus and Street arts festival is thrilled to be the first to bring Kundle Cru to Ireland with the Irish premiere of Blame Game in partnership with the Everyman. A show of dance, circus, Chinese pole and juggling, this show will have you hooked from the opening scene. We will also see American actor, clown and physical comedian Bill Irwin grace the streets of our own lovely lee. Some may even know him as Lou Lou Who – the Father of Cindy Lou from ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’.
Make sure to keep an eye out for jovial juggling characters and fearless fire performers around your favourite spots for some day-time family-friendly shows. We’ve also included a Producer’s Symposium where producers and those in the industry can come together in person to discuss challenges and brainstorm ideas for the fastest-growing sector of the Arts!
