Circus Factory Cork Residency | Poppy Emer Greenford / Bumble Movement Arts
Poppy Emer Greenford is a circus artist & director based in West Cork. Her work weaves together threads of circus, storytelling and ecology. With a passion for devising and developing creation methodologies, she takes big ideas and turns them into bite-size chunks of re-imagining for her audiences to consume.
The week will be used for residency and rehearsals to complete the creation of a performance project which has been in creation for the past three years. We have our first full length theatre performance coming up and the show still needs to be made, so this would be a welcomed focus week of much needed private rehearsal space. I would work alongside a technician for part of the process as they will be supporting the performance at the Mermaid Arts Centre in Wicklow in March.
Our tutors, coaches, members, and artists will be participating in St Patricks Day festivities around Cork!
